Meet The Team
Dedicated, professional and highly motivated, we couldn’t do any of it without our team, many of whom are or feel like family. Boath House is a family run hotel so come along and meet them all.
Working in hospitality has its challenges and its definitely hard work, we do however, attract amazing guests and we all take great pleasure in making sure each guest is getting the most out of their Highland experience.
Owner Don could be anywhere, up a ladder, on a tractor, down a hole or up a tree. Mr action man who has more than once been mistaken for a handy man.
Son Sam Matheson heads up the hotel management assisted by Nikita and Tamsin. You’ll see Sam in all areas of the hotel making sure things run smoothly.
The kitchen team is headed up by Craig Munro who has been with us since 2012, Jamie Macleod our Sous Chef who joined us in 2018 and Marcin Marciszewski our Commis Chef who is the most recent addition and joined us in April 2019.
The Housekeeping has been presided over by Heather for 18 years and she is ably aided by Joyce.
Martin cares for the grounds and general maintenance, gardens and landscaping are tended to by Robbie and Helen with Wendy overseeing the design and development.
New to the Boath family are all of the Kale Yard garden cafe team. Last but not least Pip & Squeak, the family terriers, who oversee all proceedings at Boath!
