Boath House sits in 22 acres of gardens

Gardens at Boath

Boath House is surrounded by 22 acres of lawns, wildflower meadow, woodland and streams and also home to swans, wild geese, ducks and various types of Scottish native birdlife.

Walk Around and Enjoy the Gardens at Boath House

Bee hives and hens can be seen in the walled garden along with an orchard, vegetable potager, herb parterres, glass housing and herbaceous borders. The Cafe and garden shop is also situated in the walled garden.  The 2 acre ornamental lake is stocked with trout and the bog garden produces large amounts of pond life including newts, frogs, toads and dragonflies.

Thousands of seeds are sewn in succession each year for the kitchen garden, herb garden and cut flowers borders.  The gardens are for guests visiting the house, restaurant or café – visit our Facebook Page or subscribe to our newsletter for special events held in the Café and Garden.
