Front of House

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our front of house team.  The successful applicant will assist the small management team in providing a professional yet relaxed form of service.  Duties to include booking and general office work, meeting and greeting guests, service at either breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.  Some experience is helpful but the right personality and attitude is more important.

Wine/Sommelier Position

Due to a career change we are now looking for an individual to run our wine and beverage position at Boath.  The successful candidate will be trained to at least WSET level 2 and have a good working knowledge of wines at 4 rosette or Michelin level.  This is an exciting opportunity for someone to enhance their wine experience and level of responsibility.  We are a very small but passionate team and therefore other duties will be required.

Scholarship Programmes

We are soon to embark on a series of scholarship programmes for all departments including kitchen, front of house, housekeeping and garden. Although live-in facilities are not provided, we do help with finding local accommodation in the surrounding villages and towns. Nairn has great communication links with the whole of Scotland and is a great base to explore the Highlands further on days off, a driving licence is a definite advantage in order to make the most this beautiful part of the country. We operate a rolling 5 day week with statutory holidays (we close for Christmas) as well as very competitive monthly paid wages and a tronc system for tips.
