Boath House is surrounded by 22 acres of lawns, wildflower meadow, woodland and streams are also home to swans, wild geese, ducks and various types of Scottish native birdlife.
Bee hives and hens can be seen in the walled garden along with an orchard, vegetable pottager, herb parterres, green-housing and herbaceous borders. A Garden Design studio and garden shop is situated next to the glasshouse.
The 2 acre ornamental lake is stocked with trout and the bog garden produces large amounts of pond life including newts, frogs, toads and dragonflies. Thousands of seeds are sewn in succession each year for the kitchen garden, herb garden and cut flowers borders. The gardens are opened to the general public for a charity event every year follow our facebook page or subscribe to our newsletter for dates in 2017. The garden can be viewed by guests staying at the house or dining in the restaurant all year round.
