Charlie Lockley

Head chef and inspirational foodie, Charlie is a long term friend and now a Director at Boath House. Having taken a chance with us nearly 18 years ago Charlie has been very much a part of our success and helped  us to gain recognition.


Don Matheson

Co-owner and general dogs body! This is Dons 7th career having had previous lives as a Royal Marine, an Engineer and an Owner of an independent Fitness Centre to mention a few. A dedicated family man a regular at the gym and a climbing enthusiast and the fittest  70 year old we know!


Sam Matheson

Part of the hotel management team, Sam is the 2nd generation of the family helping to take the business to the next level. Having grown up in the family business and taken time out to travel and go to university Sam is committed to lead the business into greater success.


George Murdoch

George has joined us in a Food and Beverage management role having spent most of his career in city establishments,  George is now enjoying the rural life . He has brought with him a wealth of knowledge particularly in the wine list development.


Wendy Matheson

A general response to her impatient husband being ‘ it takes time to be creative give me a break’ Wendy is responsible for most of the marketing and  other creative aspects of the business – her main focus being her lifetime passion of the garden.  Her  design business is run from a studio in the walled garden at Boath


Craig Munro

Craig is a very able assistant to Charlie and has proven to be a very solid and dependable aide. A local lad from Inverness who always has a smile and nothing is ever too much trouble.


Rosie Kirkness

Newest member of the kitchen team – Rosie joins us from a top London restaurant . Being part of a small brigade will enable Rosie to further refine her skills and gain knowledge in all areas of food preparation . Being from the west coast of Scotland  – she is happy to return to her homeland.


Heather Robertson

Heather has been head housekeeper at Boath House for almost 15 years. Plumping pillows, cleaning the brass and keeping us all very tidy has been only a small part of her very busy and productive day


Emma McGowan

Having joined us shortly after leaving school and college Emma has been with us for several years as assistant housekeeper and breakfast waitress. She keeps us organised  at breakfast time and is a fabulous young mother to Leah and wife to our groundsman John.

John McGowan

Keen, enthusiastic and will give anything a go are attributes that well describe John,  a part time fireman and member of the local coast guard , John is a good guy to have around!

Amanda Morrison

Amanda has been keeping the gardens looking neat and tidy for nearly 10 years aided and abetted by Wendy who oversees the design of the gardens. An avid follower of the organic movement Amanda knowledge and expertise are greatly appreciated by all who  wander the gardens and beyond .
